If It Wasn’t Planned It’s Not A Reward

  • Like your goals, you must plan your rewards
  • If not, you can slip into ‘impulse’ rewards, which don’t help you keep your commitments
  • You have been working out and eating healthily for 10 days
  • You walk by an ice cream shop
  • You think, “I’ve been so good, I’ll reward myself with a treat”
  • That’s not a reward… it is sabotaging your goals
  • Take time to decide on rewards for each step of the way, in advance
