If You Choose To Stay Involved With An Addicted Partner Or Friend

  • Relationship problems will occur, put you at risk of relapse, and cause you continued stress
  • Stress will result from the addicted person’s:
  • Erratic mood swings
  • Reckless and irresponsible financial and sexual behavior
  • Risk of major legal and medical consequences
  • Endangering you with AIDS or other sexually transmitted diseases
  • Luring you into relapsing into drug or alcohol use once again
