Once You’ve Started Exercising Help Yourself Keep Going:
- Talk positively to yourself and others about your exercise routine and what you are doing
- Set a regular time to exercise and have a back up time preferably on the same day for if you miss your regular time
- Expect exercise slump days when your exercises turn out less well than you had hoped and take pleasure in having done them anyway
- Expect your strength and determination to vary from day to day and don’t give up
- Acknowledge your success
