  • High risk situations are those activities and places that have many cues or social pressures to use drugs or alcohol
  • High risk situations are personal
  • What is high risk for one person may not be high risk for another person
  • High risk situations should be avoided
  • If they cannot be avoided, they must be coped with adequately
