Use Your Quick Judgments Differently

  • Use your quick judgments about your partner as an inner flash light to check out:
  • What you are thinking and feeling
  • What conclusions you are drawing
  • Notice your own black and white beliefs to prevent polarizing a situation and moving you and your partner into separate camps
  • Slow down and breath deeply during each interaction that gets your judgments rolling
