Why Can’t We Just All Get Along?
- We fight because we lack the motivation to get close to the people we’re at odds with
- We get caught up in hostility and conflict because battle is rewarding
- It feels good to look down on
someone we’re annoyed or
angry with
- It gives us a feeling of moral superiority
- We don’t want to see that we have a distorted view of that person
