Your Parents Neither Define Nor Defeat You

  • Whatever they did or didn’t do for you is only part of the reason you became the person you are
  • Your parents are imperfect
  • Learn from their mistakes and their successes
  • Bury your fantasy parents and make peace with your real ones
  • You won’t succeed because you had good parents or bad parents, you will make it because you push yourself
  • Regardless of your parents, you are a wholly different being, responsible only to yourself for what you are and will become
