You Played A Role In Your Family Of Origin

  • Using your worksheet:
  • List 2 of your old roles
  • If you are still playing these roles, give one example of how for each role
  • Your roles when growing up are a good indicator of how you’ll interact with others now and how you interact as an adult with your parents and family
  • Even if you’ve changed, you’re likely to revert to your old roles for a time when you are in a crisis or under prolonged stress
