Relapse Prevention Training For Alcohol Abstinence

  • Studies have shown that:
  • Relapse prevention training reduces days of drinking, amount drunk, and length of drinking episodes
  • Cognitive skills, such as taught in “The Feeling Good Handbook” result in better outcomes following rehab/quitting including abstinence, compared to other treatments
  • As we go through the next slides write down the skills you want to focus on to be relapse free
  • All the skills required are taught in the free book Make Your Last Relapse the Last
