The Characteristics Of Bad Communication
- Helping: Instead of hearing how depressed, hurt or angry you feel, they try to “solve the problem” or “help” you
- Sarcasm: Their words or tone of voice convey tension or hostility which they aren’t openly acknowledging
- Scapegoating: They suggest that you have “a problem” and that they’re sane, happy, and uninvolved in the conflict
