Eating Healthy Means Every Day You:

  • Eat 3 meals and two healthy snacks at regular times
  • Eat something from each of the food groups
  • Control portion size and avoid having seconds
  • Choose foods that contain the essential vitamins and minerals
  • Choose fresh foods over packaged or fast foods
  • Avoid foods that are high in fats, salt, sugar or caffeine
