How To Get A Good Night’s Sleep
- 5. Stop smoking or chewing tobacco
- Nicotine speeds your heart rate,
increases your blood pressure, and
causes fast brain wave activity
- Avoid nicotine and you will fall asleep
more quickly and wake less often during the night
- 6. Find the right balance of fluids
- Use common sense, if you wake up often at night to go to the bathroom, cut back on fluids, if you’re often thirsty at night have something to drink before bed
- 7. Avoid foods that give you heartburn
