Common Sleep Myths
- Napping is a bad habit
- If you experience the occasional
night of short sleep, a brief afternoon
nap is a great way to replace lost sleep
- It’s possible to get too much sleep
- You can’t get more sleep than your
body needs
- If you continue to sleep it’s because
you need more sleep
- Sleeping 9 or 10 hours as an adult may be a sign of sleep apnea which results in poor quality sleep
- People who are depressed stay in bed for long periods of time
