Common Sleep Myths

  • There something wrong if you don’t remember your dreams
  • Some people remember dreams and some people don’t
  • Not being able to recall dreams is normal and has no negative health effects
  • I can get by fine on 5 or 6 hours sleep
  • The overwhelming majority of people need 7 to 9 hours a night
  • The chances are relatively small that an individual needs little sleep
