Too Little Sleep Increases
Risk Of Sickness
- Increases the risk of diabetes,
heart disease, and obesity
- Headaches, stomach problems, and sore joints occur after only a few nights of 5 or 6 hours sleep Too little sleep causes:
- Weakened immune system because fewer white blood cells are produced
- Increased risk of infections
- Longer recovery time from
infections or injury
