2. Letting Others Decide Your Goals

Useful life goals come from what you want and what you truly believe is important

  • Did you write a goal about money because everyone talks about money?
  • Is your goal what you want or what you think others think you should do?
  • Do you think that because of your past addiction you should follow your partner’s or family’s vision because they stood by you?
  • If your goals are really someone else’s vision, you have a ‘good reason’ to fail to reach them
