Take Time

  • Lasting friendships develop gradually as people learn about each other and spend time together
  • Avoid rushing into intimate friendships, sharing too quickly or expecting others to leap into an intimate relationship with you
  • Let the friendships develop naturally
  • Value all of your friendships rather than believing that only a romantic relationship will relieve your loneliness
