Lonely People Often Feel:

  • Depressed, angry, afraid, and misunderstood; the negative emotions that precede relapse
  • Highly critical of themselves
  • Overly sensitive or self-pitying
  • Critical of others, blaming others for their situations
  • Acutely aware of their own failings and shortcomings when in the company of others and believe that others are noticing them too
