Lesson 14: Managing Leftover Toxins - Slide 24

The Brain Depends On Glucose Or Sugar For Energy
- When blood glucose levels drop abruptly, the brain signals distress through symptoms such as mental confusion, headaches, irritability, nervousness, depression and an intense craving for alcohol or high sugar foods
- If you eat foods with high sugar
content, the blood sugar rises
steeply, temporarily
relieving the symptoms
- What goes up must come
down and the cycle
repeats and the
symptoms return
