- Use humor
- Remind yourself that every
day these feelings will occur
less and less
- Use the techniques taught in
the relaxation and anger management groups
- Alert your family that this is a normal reaction during early abstinence
- Get extra exercise to reduce stress
- Get extra rest, these feelings can
wear you out
