2. Memory Gaps

  • You may experience short term memory loss that is inability to remember significant past events and difficulty learning new skills
  • Advice:
  • Use relaxation techniques
  • Use humor to reduce stress
  • Use notes and texts during the program and when you leave
  • Take time after quitting on your own, rehab and recovery to rebuild memories of significant events with your family and friends
