Alcohol Abuse And Using Drugs Before Sexual Encounters:
- Stops clear thinking and good decision making
- Makes talking and listening more difficult
- Makes it harder to assess and leave potentially dangerous situations
- Increases aggression and impulsiveness
- Decreases manual dexterity so it is more difficult to use a condom or another barrier method correctly
