Drugs And Alcohol Usually Result In Negative Emotional States
- A 1995 study of cocaine addicts showed that on the day of relapse:
- 62.1% experienced loneliness
- 55.8% depression
- 55.8% anxiety or tension
- 40% anger
- 37.9% experienced feeling extremely good and 33.7% extremely excited
