Become An Impartial Spectator

  • It’s like becoming an impartial observer of your own thoughts
  • It requires resolving not to give in to the painful thought or feeling
  • It requires, anticipation and acceptance
  • Anticipation means you get ready to label the cravings and urges before they come so you don’t have the excuse of being caught off guard
  • Acceptance means you give up guilt and recrimination when you experience the thought or urge and you resolve to keep on going with your skill development
